More repairs for our Rover

Steve carefully removed the seized screws from our 1963 Rover P4 110’s rear screen frame, allowing the assembly to be dismantled without damage. With the frame disassembled, he proceeded to clean off all traces of the old sealant in preparation for refitting the unit with new seals.

Jaguar MkII Work Continues

Jonn worked on our 1963 Jaguar MkII Silver by cleaning the remaining components that are to be reused during the restoration. He painted the fan and addressed the bonnet catch return spring, which he refitted and lubricated to ensure smooth operation.

500SL Grille

The workshop team has finished cleaning and polishing the grille of our 1987 Mercedes 500SL. IThe grille was then rebuilt with new screws.

Ignition Switch

The starter of our 1984 Morgan 4/4 was engaging after the key was removed. The ignition switch was removed and checked for faults. The switch had fallen apart internally and was beyond repair, so a new switch was ordered

Oil Leak

Jonn found a small oil leak coming from a side cover plate gasket on our 1973 Jaguar E-Type. The plate was removed, both surfaces cleaned, and a new gasket fitted.

Underseal

Our 1963 Rover P4 has had underseal applied to help keep the car in good condition now and in the future.

Engine Bay 

Various engine bay components have been replaced on our 1978 Mercedes 350SL.

Making our Porsche beep again.

Jonn removed the steering wheel on our 1973 Porsche 914 Blue to address an issue with the horn, which was sounding continuously. He resolved the fault to restore normal operation.

Electric issues with our Daimler

John began work on our 1985 Daimler DS420 Limo, which had come in for recommissioning and presented several electrical issues. He first addressed the non-functional hazard lights.
