When our Daimler Super V8 arrived with us for a general check over, our task was to get her back on the road after a year in storage and to get her ready and MOT’d for the summer. One of the areas that we were asked to look at was the tired looking front seats. […]
We called in to see Mike and the guys at Shine Supply UK en route back to the Bridge Classic Cars offices and whilst showing him our new arrival he said he would spent a few hours working on the roof to see whether a bit of elbow grease might shift some of the grime that […]
Say hello to the newest member of the Bridge Classic Cars family, our 1929 Morris Cowley. Here we are collecting her from Woodbridge, Suffolk.
During a full restoration we strongly encourage for lots of photographers to be taken of the strip down and rebuild process. Not only does this help with the rebuild of the vehicle but is also a very simple and effective way of building on the service and maintenance history of the vehicle. Let’s face it, […]

With the rear cradle removed from the car in order to rebuild the brakes we decided to clean it up and give it a new paint finish just to freshen it up. It is important to think of the smaller jobs at every step of the way as the opportunity to clean up and paint […]
The car arrived to us with the brakes completely seized, the fluid had solidified and dried up. We’ve now stripped them back completely and are now in the process of rebuilding the front and rears. Whilst the rear cradle is out we will clean up and re-paint so give it a fresh look.

We have replicated as best we can the original look of the underside of our 1983 Ford Capri, do how it would have been in the 80s. Now the exterior has been fully re-sprayed we have turned our attention to the underside to ensure it is as good underneath as it is on top.
The Jaguar E-Type panel is now built and ready for the dials to be fitted up.
This is not one of our regular restoration projects. Instead, we have a beautiful truck that has battled the Suffolk weather for many years and survived. The truck is lovely as it is. Not only is it a very rare piece but it is unique and it is certainly a head turner. Any major works […]
The sun is shining as we load our Maserati up for a trip to London. Let’s just hope the weather stays bright as we take to the streets of London for a test drive.
“Top guys. Lovely workshop and some very worthy projects and a team with superb restoration skills. I was absolutely spoilt with time and effort from the team. Thanks to all!”
Whilst having a coffee in the office, looking out of the window at our 1967 Jaguar E-Type body shell, an idea popped into my head. Could we make a sofa out of a Jaguar E-Type? I’m no Picasso but here is the first draft of what I had in mind when I come up with […]
We called upon the services of Paul Johnson Mobile Valeting to give our 1998 Daimler Super V8 and 1957 Ford F100 a freshen up. The Daimler has been stored for some time indoors but required a thorough clean and a detail to the engine, to bring her back to life ready for the summer. Our 1957 […]
Ronnie from Karr Solutions arrived this evening already pre-loaded with a Porsche that he was due to deliver on his return to Scotland. He had space for one more as he took away our 1973 Jaguar V12 to join her new owners Lorna and Roddy in East Lothian, Scotland. Perfect timing to enjoy the E-Type…ready […]

Once the shoot is complete the car will be dry stored over in our Woodbridge storage facility ready to […]
When purchasing new manifolds for the Jaguar E-Type they typically come already enamelled from the supplier, unless you opt for the more expensive option of stainless steel. Our customer wished for us to purchase un-enamelled manifolds as he wanted to coat his with a heat proof alternative. They are readily available without the enamel coating so […]
The seats are currently in the process of being freshened up to help disguise the age related wear that is starting to appear. Whilst the seats are out we have taken the opportunity to deep clean the full carpet throughout.
As part of the re-commissioning project of our 1998 Daimler Super V8, we have been instructed to strip back and treat the underneath of the car and get her weather proof and protected after years of wear and tear. Here is what we are faced with underneath prior to any work being started. The car […]
[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]The electric windows are in need of some attention. The windows are falling slightly to enable the door to open and close without any glass shattering. This is exactly what should happen but the issue we are faced with is that the windows do not rise again when the doors are closed. They, in fact, […]
