Another busy month has come to an end here at Bridge Classic Cars. Here is a quick look back at what has been going on.

Workshop

The workshop team have been working as hard as ever to keep our current projects making good progress towards heading home to their waiting owners.

One of a collection of Toyota Hiliuxs coming into the workshop has had a new fuel pump fitted and has gone home running on synthetic fuel. Our 1975 MGB GT V8 has almost finished its time in the paint shop and is looking great already.

We also welcomed a quirky 1970 VW Dune Buggy through the doors for some work before it left us to enjoy the summer with its owner. We also repaired and replaced the hood of a Nissan Figaro.

As well as our ongoing projects, we welcomed some new vehicles. These include a 1978 MGB GT, our new car transporter, a 2020 Mercedes Sprinter, a 1958 Rover 90, and a stunning 2023 Porsche 911, which arrived with us for storage.

Competitions

In April, we found eight more winners of some very special prizes in our competitions.

Congratulations to:

Stephen Bruce, winner of our Bulova Racing Watch
Graham Suttil, winner of our Raleigh Chopper MK3
Gary Barnard, winner of our 1978 MG Midget
David McMaster, winner of our 2020 MV Agusta Dragster
Russell Fox, winner of our 1968 MGC Roadster
Hugh Carville, winner of our 2000 Lotus Elise S1
Istvan Pflancer, winner of our 1966 Daimler V8 250
Hugh Crossley, winner of our 1968 MGC Roadster

You can see all of our current competitions here.

Oli Knights, the lucky winner of a brand new Caterham Seven 310 Encore, collected his car from the Caterham factory. After winning back in October, it was very cool to see Oli finally get his car.

MyClassics

MyClassics continues to offer some incredible vehicles for sale. Current vehicles available on MyClassics include a 1983 Austin Mini and a collection of 3 very rare Ducati Panigale motobikes.

You can see all of the cars currently for sale here.

Media

In the automotive media world, we have shared news about the Rolls-Royce Project Nightingale and the Ariel Atom 4RR. We also went to Goodwood for the 83rd Members’ Meeting and spoke about how we’ve been running all of our cars on synthetic fuel for 18 months.

All of the big automotive news stories from April can be seen here.

Our weekly show, Torque Show Live, has also continued to grow and develop. With weekly features such as the news, special guests, and the live draws of our competitions, it’s always an exciting show.

You can watch every episode here.

Bridge Classic Cars Kids

Our Theatre in Education tour of local primary schools has concluded, and it was even better than we first imagined. The pupils and teachers were extremely complimentary about the production and workshop, and Max & Molly loved meeting all of them.

Both Craig and Sally were interviewed on local radio to discuss the tour, too!

Now that the tour is complete, we are already looking ahead to how we can develop it even further for the future.

As well as our school tour, our first-ever children’s book is now out! This has been very well received, with orders continuing to come in from all over the country.

You can order your copy of Rilee, the Little Red Car, here.
