Your opportunity to win our 1996 Rover 220 Turbo ‘Tomcat’ has arrived as entry is now open for the latest competition from Bridge Classic Cars Competitions.
Our 220 has undergone a full respray in the Bridge Classic Cars paint shop and was also part of the 2022 Commonwealth Games Opening Ceremony.
Tickets are available now so don’t miss your chance to own one of the fastest production cars ever made by Rover.
Our 2011 Ducati 900 SuperSport has recently arrived at the Bridge Classic Cars workshop.
This beautiful motorcycle will soon be a competition vehicle through Bridge Classic Cars Competitions and we are very excited to see it go to a new owner in the near future.
After spending a bit of time in the Bridge Classic Cars workshop in 2020 for some minor repairs before going into storage at The Hangar, our 2016 Ford Mustang GT is back!
This time, it’s back for a very exciting reason…it’s now a competition car that will be won through Bridge Classic Cars Competitions.
Our Mustang is loud, it’s fast, and it’s an eye-catching car that will be sure to get a whole load of attention wherever it ends up. You can enter the draw to win this stunning muscle car once it goes live on the Bridge Classic Cars Competitions website very soon.
After putting it to a vote on the Bridge Classic Cars Facebook page, it was decided that the wheels on our 1969 Morgan 4/4 1600 should be painted silver instead of keeping them their current red colour.
The wheels have now been removed from our classic Morgan and they will soon be back on the car looking very different in their new colour scheme.
As a future competition car, it was great to put a decision like this to a public vote and we look forward to getting the freshly painted wheels back on the car very soon.
Tickets are now available for our 1987 Porsche 928 Series 4.
This is a fantastic example of the transaxle grand tourer that offered a more usable and practical version of the Porsche 911. Finished in Grand-Prix white with a black leather-trimmed interior, our 928 has a 5-litre V8 that generates 320bhp.
If you have always wanted your very own Porsche, then this is your chance to win our 1987 Porsche 928 Series 4.
After spending time in the Bridge Classic Cars Paint Shop and having a full re-paint, this is one of the best-presented classic minis we have ever had as a competition car.
Tickets are available to buy now so don’t miss your chance to be the new owner of our 1979 Austin Morris Mini 850.
Classic motorbikes like this don’t tend to be available for very long so, if you want your chance to be the new owner of our Gold Wing, tickets are available now.
The lucky winner of our 1999 Rover BRM, Neil Owen, has a stronger connection to the car than most.
Neil’s late Grandfather was Sir Alfred Owen who, at the age of 21 became the Chief Executive of The Rubery Owen Group. After being run by his father up until his death, the Rubery Owen empire dominated the light steel industry in Britain for the first half of the twentieth century. Once Sir Alfred took over though, it expanded on a global scale.
In 1952, The Rubery Owen Group (under Alfred’s control) acquired the BRM Formula 1 team. The team was struggling but that was soon to change. Along with the team’s fortunes, the team name was also changed from BRM to the Owen Racing Organisation, however, the cars were still always known as BRMs.
Despite now picking up occasional international victories, Sir Alfred wanted more and even threatened to close the team down for good if success was not achieved. With the introduction of the new BRM P57, driver Graham Hill became the world champion with BRM also taking the constructors championship at the same time.
Sir Alfred Owen continued to sponsor the BRM team until his death in 1975. The team would ultimately come to an end just 2 years later in 1977.
Now Neil Owen is the new owner of our 1999 Rover BRM. It seems a fitting home for this car and is something of a homecoming to the family that kept BRM racing for so many years.
Neil was randomly selected as the winner of our BRM with his ticket number 1890 during the live draw held on 2nd March 2023. Everyone here at Bridge Classic Cars would like to congratulate Neil again on winning the car and we are extremely happy it has gone to someone with such a deep connection to the vehicle.
Last night we held the live draw of our 1968 MGB GT from The Atelier at Bridge Classic Cars.
Live draws are always fun and it was great to hear that the lucky winner, Michael Bambridge, was very happy to be chosen at random as the new owner of our classic MGB.
If you haven’t been to one of our live draw events, you may not know what goes on behind the scenes, however, the photos below will give you an idea of the atmosphere during a live draw.
MGBs are always popular competition cars so this one likely won’t be around for long. With chrome bumpers, improved paintwork, and chrome wire wheels, this is a fantastic example of a classic British sports car.
It was a great night with musical entertainment from the amazingly talented MJ Soul, delicious food from Wagu Burgers and Street Food, as well as the live draws of our 2 1970s classic cars – our 1973 Audi 100 Coupe S and our 1972 Rover P6 4500S.
The lucky winners were Daniel Ewen, who is now the owner of our Audi, and Stephen Price, who is the new keeper of our one-of-a-kind Beastie.
Everyone on the Bridge Classic Cars team had a lot of fun and would like to thank everyone who attended or watched along at home. There will be more live events like this happening regularly and we hope to see more of you very soon.
We recently heard from David who had taken his Mini to a car show in his local area. As you can see from the photos below, not only does the Mini look great, David’s Bridge Classic Cars t-shirt looks very cool too.
We love to see past winners enjoying their classic cars and we hope David continues to enjoy his 1997 Rover Mini.
Classic car technician Dave has been looking at our 2008 Harley-Davidson Sportster 883 in preparation for it being delivered to our lucky winner.
While checking over the bike, Dave fitted a new spring to the side stand.
Despite being a seemingly small part, it’s jobs like this that make sure everything is working as it should be when our vehicles leave the Bridge Classic Cars workshop.
Last night, we held the live draw of our 1994 Rover 216 Cabriolet and our 1989 Rover Mini City 1000 E.
As always, it was a lot of fun finding out who the lucky winners were. The excitement levels are even higher when multiple winners are drawn on the same night.
Drawing Our 1994 Rover 216 Cabriolet
James Blocksidge was the winner of our Rover 216 with ticket number 1916. Unfortunately, we weren’t able to get hold of James on the phone during the draw but, don’t worry, he will be finding out very soon that he is the new owner of our 1994 Rover 216 Cabriolet.
Drawing Our 1989 Rover Mini City 1000 E
The winning ticket number in the draw for our Mini City was 3662 which belonged to Adam Hutchinson. Amazingly, when Molly spoke to Adam on the phone, he said that he had only purchased his ticket around 40 minutes before the draw started!
Congratulations
Everyone here at Bridge Classic Cars would like to congratulate James and Adam on becoming the owners of two very cool classic cars. We are sure you will have a lot of fun with them!
On Thursday, the 9th of February, we held the live draw of our 2008 Harley-Davidson 883 Sportster. On the night, Sarah Janney was the lucky winner of this beautiful bike with ticket number 1246.
Live draws are always good fun and this one was no different.
If you have not seen one of our live draws before, the behind-the-scenes photo below should help give you an idea of what goes on. If you want to go a step further and experience a live draw in person, we regularly host live draw events where you can come and see us (and all of our current competition vehicles) in The Atelier at Bridge Classic Cars.
The next date for this type of event is Thursday, 23rd February when we will be hosting a 1970s-themed evening with music, food, and drink (as well as the draw of 2 classic cars).
After being inspected by our workshop team, entry has opened and you can get your tickets to be in with a chance of winning our 216 Cabriolet in our live draw scheduled for 16th February 2023.
The lucky winner of our 1973 Triumph TR6, Barnaby Page, took delivery of his car recently.
Won through Bridge Classic Cars Competitions, Barnaby had winning ticket number 2351 which was randomly selected during our live draw held on 26th January 2023.
Everyone here at Bridge Classic Cars would like to congratulate Barnaby again for his win and we hope he enjoys his very own Triumph TR6.
The Bridge Classic Cars workshop team have finished their inspection of our 2008 Harley Davidson Sportster 883 and it is now available to win through Bridge Classic Cars Competitions.
It recently came out of long-term storage and has covered 9000 miles from new.
Whoever is lucky enough to win this impressive motorbike will certainly turn some heads when they take it out on the road!
The lucky winner of our 1975 MGB GT V8, Steven Biggs, is a big fan of our local team, Ipswich Town Football Club.
When the time came to deliver this beautiful classic car to Steven, we couldn’t think of anywhere better than the home of ITFC – Portman Road!
We had a great time handing over the keys to Steven on the club’s FanZone pitch (and he seemed to enjoy it too).
Everyone here at Bridge Classic Cars would like to thank ITFC for helping us out with this delivery and, of course, congratulations again to Steven. We are sure you will have a lot of fun in your MGB V8.
Our 1973 Audi 100 Coupe S has just arrived at the Bridge Classic Cars workshop.
It is now in the hands of our team of classic car technicians who will thoroughly inspect and assess the vehicle. If they are happy with it, it will go on to be a competition car through Bridge Classic Cars Competitions.
We are excited to see what the future holds for this beautiful classic car.
