A Suzuki Vitara owner has covered 436,500 miles in less than 10 years!

The Vitara SZ-T, fitted with Suzuki’s 1.6-litre petrol engine, was originally purchased new in 2017 from Hilton Suzuki Bedford. Since then, the car has been used daily and regularly driven across Europe, covering huge distances while remaining reliable throughout.

According to Suzuki, the vehicle has been dealer-serviced correctly every few months and is still running on its original engine, gearbox, and exhaust system. Even though it has covered such high mileage, the Vitara reportedly continues to run perfectly, with no oil leaks noted during its recent inspections.

Aside from regular wear-and-tear items such as brake pads and around 15 sets of tyres, the only additional replacement required over the car’s lifespan has been a single driveshaft rubber boot. The owner has now traded in the Vitara for a 2024 Vitara Hybrid, continuing their relationship with the Suzuki brand after nearly a decade and almost half a million miles behind the wheel.
