SuperBike Factory has ceased trading after entering administration. It appointed Michael Lennon, James Saunders and Robert Halliday of KR8 Advisory as joint administrators on 20th July 2026. The business has now stopped trading with immediate effect, closing its online operation and six physical locations in Macclesfield, Donington Park, Bradford, Bristol, Milton Keynes and Crawley.
Founded in 2010, SuperBike Factory grew rapidly to sell around 15,000 used motorcycles each year. Alongside its retail operation, the group also ran WeBuyAnyBike.com and the motorcycle finance service SuperBike Loans. The company was acquired by Enact, part of private equity firm Endless, in December 2023. Its most recently filed accounts show that more than 15,000 motorcycles were sold during 2024, although the company recorded a post-tax loss of approximately £18.3 million for the year.
SuperBike Factory had previously highlighted the rising cost of living, low consumer confidence and uncertainty surrounding the availability of motor finance as risks to the business. Around 273 employees have been affected by the administration. A small number have reportedly been retained to help secure the company’s assets and support their sale.
The administrators said their immediate priority was supporting affected employees while reviewing the company’s financial position. Customers, sellers and anyone with an outstanding motorcycle or order have been advised to contact the administrators directly at SBF@kr8.co.uk.
The collapse follows several difficult years for parts of the UK motorcycle trade and demonstrates that even one of the market’s largest operators was not immune to the pressures facing the industry.
