To celebrate 130 years of “innovation and performance”, Škoda has released the Fabia 130.
At a cost of £29,995, the new model is the most powerful and fastest production Fabia ever built, and has a revised 1.5-litre TSI engine that now produces 177 PS.

Performance
The upgraded 1.5 TSI EVO2 engine has a 0-62 mph time of 7.4 seconds and a top speed of 142 mph. Both of these set new records for the Fabia range. Peak torque of 250 Nm kicks in from just 1,500 rpm, and the improved intake and engine components help the power unit breathe more freely under pressure.
Paired with a retuned seven-speed DSG gearbox, the Fabia 130 shifts faster and harder, particularly in Sport mode, where double-clutch downshifts and later braking logic enhance the driving experience. Mid-range acceleration also improves, with 37-62 mph taking just 3.8 seconds.
Sharper and More Controlled
Handling upgrades for the Fabia 130 include a sports chassis lowered by 15 mm, recalibrated steering, and selectable driving modes that adjust throttle and steering response. Drivers can also engage an ASR Sport + ESC Sport mode, which allows for controlled wheel slip while maintaining electronic safety support.
Motorsport-Inspired Looks
Visually, the Fabia 130 has a deeper front bumper, a black rear diffuser, and a larger roof spoiler. It is available in Moon White, Velvet Red, Race Blue, and Black Magic. All versions come with a contrasting gloss black roof, mirrors, and trim. Smoked headlight housings and special ‘130’ badging all add to the special look of the car.
Interior
Inside, the Fabia 130 has sports seats, a three-spoke steering wheel with shift paddles, and stainless-steel pedals. There is also grey and black aluminium trim and bespoke sill plates. A 10-inch digital instrument cluster and 9.2-inch infotainment screen come as standard.
Flagship Spec but Usable
At £29,995, the Fabia 130 tops the range and includes metallic paint, Bi-LED headlamps, privacy glass, rear-view camera, keyless entry and start, and voice control as standard. UK orders open from 30th October 2025.
A Nod to 130 Years of Performance
The Fabia 130 draws a direct line from Škoda’s current road cars to its rallying success. From the early vRS models to the rally-dominating Fabia R5 and Rally2 cars, Škoda’s small hatchbacks have been at home on the podium for a long time. The new 130 keeps that spirit alive, wrapping real performance in a practical package.
