The 2013 Porsche Boxster represents the third generation of Porsche’s mid-engine roadster with a big jump forward in terms of design, performance, and technology. Known as the 981, this version of the Boxster is lighter, faster, and more fuel-efficient than its predecessors.
You can see that our 2013 Boxster has looks based on its more expensive sibling, the 911, but has a more aggressive and modern look. It features a wider track, longer wheelbase, and a lower stance, all of which contribute to improved handling and a more planted feel on the road. The body is constructed primarily of aluminium, resulting in a weight reduction of approximately 55 pounds compared to the previous generation, which enhances both performance and fuel efficiency.
Our Boxster is equipped with a 2.7-litre flat-six engine paired with Porsche’s seven-speed dual-clutch PDK automatic gearbox.
Its mid-engine layout provides near-perfect weight distribution. Inside, the cabin is extremely comfortable and stylish, with high-quality materials, supportive seats, and a range of modern features, including a touchscreen infotainment system.
This particular Boxster has been known to us for several years and we have completed some work on it in the past. The car comes with an MOT until March 2025.
