Our 1989 Porsche 928 S4 is a fantastic example of one of the most underrated GTs of its era.

Originally launched in 1978 as a potential successor to the 911, the 928 quickly became a popular model. The later S4 model, like this one, introduced a 5.0-litre V8 with twin-cam heads, delivering 316bhp.

The previous owner bought the car in 2018 from another 928 enthusiast who had already carried out extensive specialist maintenance.

The car comes with a comprehensive history file, including invoices from Porsche specialists, workshop and electrical manuals, the original sales brochure, owner’s handbook, and a certificate of authenticity.

It is finished in Guards Red over black leather with red piping.

Recent work includes a gearbox rebuild, new fuel lines, colour-matched parking sensors, and a fresh battery. It’s been regularly serviced, with major components such as the cam belt replaced.
