Description

Our 1985 Mercedes-Benz 380SL is part of the R107 series. Designed to be a luxury roadster, the 380SL has a 3.8-litre V8 engine paired with a 4-speed automatic gearbox.

As one of the last years for the 380SL, our 1985 example shows the peak of its development before being replaced by the more powerful 560SL in 1986.

As the successor to the European 350SL and American 450SL models, the 380SL was introduced in March 1980. It used the same two-door monocoque bodyshell equipped with all-round coil-sprung independent suspension and power-assisted recirculating ball steering.

Along with a history file containing a service book and other Mercedes-branded documents, it also has an MOT valid until May 2025.
