The Triumph TR6 is an iconic British sports car of the 1970’s. With a bold and more muscular design than the TR5 which it replaced, the TR6 holds a special place in the hearts of an army of petrolheads.
Now, Bridge Classic Cars Competitions is giving you the chance to win one of these legendary British sports cars with our 1973 Triumph TR6.
Finished in a striking shade of yellow with a black interior and foldable roof, our TR6 is sure to steal the show and turn heads wherever it goes.
Featuring the classic Triumph 2.5-litre straight-six engine with electronic ignition and fitted with an uprated Bosch fuel pump upgrade to feed the Lucas fuel injection system. The TR6 is also believed to be fitted with a ‘Double S’ Stainless Steel exhaust and our TR6 sends its power to the rear wheels through a 4-speed manual gearbox with column-switched overdrive.
The car comes with a history file containing specialist parts and mechanical invoices from the early 2000s to present, as well as previous MOT records all the way back to the mid-1990’s. Included in the folder are a set of period handbooks specifically for the TR6.
Whilst with ourselves, the car has received sympathetic paint work as well as some interior and exterior trim work including a new carpet set and the installation of its folding soft-top. The car has also been fitted with a period-correct steering wheel and an upgraded but period looking DAB/Bluetooth stereo to give the car a more original but usable feel.
