The Suzuki GSX1300R Hayabusa is one of the most iconic performance motorcycles ever built, and our June 2000 example represents the first generation of the machine that redefined what a production bike could be.
Registered on 23rd June 2000, this UK-supplied Hayabusa is powered by Suzuki’s 1,298cc inline-four engine, a DOHC unit that stunned the world at launch with its immense torque delivery and top-speed capability. Producing around 173bhp in period UK specification, the early Hayabusa quickly became the benchmark hyperbike of its era.
Finished in blue, our Hayabusa has the aerodynamic bodywork that made the model instantly recognisable.
What makes this particular bike extra appealing though is its low mileage. At its most recent MOT in February 2026, there were just 13,726 miles on the clock. The bike passed its MOT with no advisories and is valid until February 2027.
Our Hayabusa has a fuel-injected 1298cc engine, multi-piston front brake setup, aluminium swingarm and fully faired sports chassis. Although highly original, it has been fitted with an Arrow exhaust system.
It’s worth remembering that this is a bike from an era before rider aids and electronic intervention became the norm. No traction control. No riding modes. Just pure mechanical engineering.
Now recognised as a modern classic, early Hayabusas are increasingly sought after. Clean, low-mileage examples like this are becoming harder to find, particularly in largely original condition with documented history.
As part of our commitment to sustainability, we run all of our competition cars on synthetic fuel. This is a like-for-like fossil-free alternative to petrol that reduces emissions by up to 80%. This can be mixed with traditional petrol and no modifications to the car are required. You can fuel this car with traditional petrol – we simply use synthetic fuel as part of our sustainability goals.
