The Triumph Spitfire is one of the most recognisable classic British sports cars, and our 1972 example is a perfect display of everything that made these cars so popular.

Finished in green with a black interior and soft top, it perfectly captures the charm and character of open-top motoring from the early 1970s.

First registered on 1st June 1972, this car is part of the Spitfire Mk IV generation designed by Italian designer Giovanni Michelotti.

Our Spitfire has a later model 1500cc engine. The engine has been overhauled and fitted with a new unleaded cylinder head.
The engine bay is one of the clearest indicators of how well our Spitfire has been restored and looked after, as it looks like it could have just rolled off the production line.
Upgrades such as an aluminium radiator and alternator conversion have also been completed.

More than fifty years after it left the Triumph factory, our 1972 Triumph Spitfire looks incredible and is ready to find its next owner.

  • Restored to an exceptionally high standard
  • Overhauled later model 1500 engine
  • Modern upgrades make it a very usable classic
