MG has delivered its 100,000th electric vehicle to a UK customer on 31st October 2025.

Since launching its first electric model, the MG ZS EV, in 2019, MG has consistently grown its electric range. The ZS EV was followed by the award-winning MG4 EV hatchback and the practical MG5 EV estate. Both of these were very well received.

“We’re proud that MG has played a meaningful role in driving the growth of electric mobility in the UK and supporting the nation’s Net Zero ambitions. Reaching 100,000 EV sales is a major achievement for our brand and a reflection of the trust our customers place in us. We will continue to expand our line-up with even more choice, even more value, and advanced technology that makes electric driving accessible to all. Whilst we have successfully embraced new mobility technology – especially hybrid and battery electric vehicles – as a brand we retain MG’s essential spirit and a sense of adventure. That means offering our MG4 EV in a bold Volcano Orange, as well as an XPOWER model which delivers a thrilling 435PS of power output or designing arrow-shaped rear lights for the flagship Cyberster that incorporates a subtle Union Jack pattern.”

Guy Pigounakis, Commercial Director of MG Motor UK.

In 2023, MG revealed the Cyberster, Britain’s first two-seat electric convertible. With a sub-3.2-second 0–62mph time and an exterior design shaped at MG’s London design studio, it was MG’s very clear statement that EVs can be exciting as well as efficient.

Looking forward, MG is set to expand its EV offering with concept models like the Cyberster Black and the urban-focused Cyber X.

Today’s MG EV range includes the MG4 EV, MG5 EV, MG IM5, MG IM6, and the flagship MG Cyberster. Hybrids and petrol options also remain part of the range.
