Today, we welcomed BMW Car Magazine to Bridge Classic Cars to photograph for an upcoming feature on our 1973 BMW 2002 Targa.
Unfortunately due to copyright restrictions we are unable to show you the full photo shoot until the magazine has been published but it was fantastic to have them here and see their photographer Matt Woods in action.
Automotive Photographer Matt Woods is based here in East Anglia and has been a professional photographer for more than 16 years. matt has built a reputation for exceeding client expectations and has been commissioned by leading brands and magazines around the world.
We are desperate to show some of his work on our car so hopefully it won’t be too long until the magazine feature gets released…

The cars are prepped and ready for this year’s Kersey Mill Drive It Day
We weren’t as fortunate with the weather as last year’s incredible sunshine but we still had an amazing day at Kersey Mill for this year’s Drive It Day.
“A showcase of spectacular Vintage & Classic Cars. A day out for all the family. Admire the beautiful vehicles, tour the historic water mill & gardens. teas, coffees & lunches available. BBQ, licensed bar. Various attractions for the whole family, pony rides, dog friendly (on leads) Display vehicles Free. Raising funds for the Roonah Faith O’halloran fund and the restoration of Kersey Mill.”
We took along 5 of our cars to showcase: 1969 Pontiac Firebird, 1968 Triumph Vitess, 1957 Mercedes 190SL, 1973 BMW 2002 Targa and our 1970 Mercedes 280SL Pagoda restoration project.
As always, we got to spend the day with many of our friends from all over Suffolk. Lovely to see Howard from Howard Watts Automotive, Tony from Wyatt Polishing, Richard Wilding from the ODX Group and a huge thank you to Steve and Alison De Lara-Bell for organising a great day.

Believed to be one of only 94 RHD models produced for the UK market, the history file includes confirmation letter from BMW dated 1981, various MOTs dating from 1990s until 2017 when last issued, older V5s, service receipts, handbook and wallet. The mileage is recorded at 28,877.
Will soon be brought to market but for now, we’ll give her a few runs out and you may see her at various shows this summer.
We had a fantastic day out at Anglia Car Auctions this weekend (13th April 2019). Great to see Rob, Lyn and the team putting on a great display once again. Some amazing cars on show too and a brilliant turn out. Here are just some of the cars we managed to photograph. This was probably only a 3rd of the cars that could be seen on the day…
And of course, we bagged ourselves a very rare little classic too…
