This lovely HMC Mark IV popped in to see us briefly to fix some sticking brakes and loose headlights. It was in and out within the hour and is now back on the road with its loving owner.

We’ve got another Austin Mini in the Bridge Classic Cars Paint Shop. This Mini belongs to Team C Racing. The body will need to be welded with new metal, shaped, prepared and then painted either Ocean Blue or Island Blue. We will then be sending it back to team C to continue the restoration.
This lovely 72 Peugeot 504 will be coming into our workshop in the coming weeks for restorative works. We will be addressing issues with the paintwork, interior, brakes and chrome.

We have taken in an inquiry this week for the repair of a TVR soft top hood. The stitching seems to be coming away at the plastic screen and the edging is therefore folding back. The stitching will need to be taken our and re-lined. This will be one for Kath in our trim shop […]
Our Morris Mini Restoration has begun! This lovely little Morris is being restored to it’s original factory Cherry Red colour. Its now had its first coat of primer to keep the rust at bay. It will now head into the fabrication shop.

Kath, Bridge Classic Cars’ in-house trimmer has made a new double gear lever gaiter for our Amphicar. She started by dismantling the old, worn gaiter. Then Kath used the old components as a reference for the new materal to be cut to. She then stitched and re-assembled the fabric into shape. Wonderful work, Kath!

Mauro has started work assembling the rear of our TR6 restoration. He’s fitted the rear springs, differential and rear hubs. Mauro has also fitted the upper and lower front arms as well as the front anti roll bar to the front of the vehicle.
