Bentley has unveiled the latest generation of its Flying Spur. The new model introduces a significantly revised exterior design, enhanced technology, and the return of the performance-focused Flying Spur S.

For the first time since 1962, a Bentley saloon features single front headlamps, bringing the Flying Spur’s design language into line with the latest Continental GT family. The front end has also been cleaned up with a grille integrated into the bumper, smoother wing surfaces, and revised badging placement behind the front wheels. At the rear, Bentley has introduced a new boot lid design, updated rear lamps, and a body-coloured number plate surround, with new 22-inch wheel finishes available across the range.

Production of the new Flying Spur is scheduled to begin at Bentley’s Crewe factory in September, with customer deliveries expected to start during the fourth quarter of 2026.

The Return Of The Flying Spur S

A major addition to the new range is the return of the Flying Spur S. Designed for drivers looking for a more focused and sporting experience, the latest S model is the most powerful Flying Spur S ever produced.

Powered by Bentley’s High Performance Hybrid powertrain, it delivers 680 PS (approx 670bhp) and 930 Nm of torque. This is an increase of nearly 20% over any previous Flying Spur S. Bentley claims a 0-60 mph time of just 3.6 seconds and a top speed of 191 mph.

The Flying Spur S also benefits from Bentley’s Performance Active Chassis, which includes Active All-Wheel Drive, torque vectoring, twin-valve dampers, Bentley Dynamic Ride active anti-roll technology, and, for the first time on an S model, an electronic limited-slip differential.

Visually, the S model has Bentley’s Blackline Specification, featuring gloss black exterior details, dark-tinted LED matrix headlamps, black mirror caps, dark rear lamps, and sports exhaust finishers.

More Choice

Bentley has expanded the interior options available to Flying Spur customers, with five different seat styles now offered. Each seat requires around 12 hours of handcraftsmanship and can be specified with either fluted or advanced quilted inserts.

The company has also extended its Mulliner Virtuoso Collection to the Flying Spur. Available in Soprano, Tenor, and Bass themes, the collection uses premium materials, unique embroidery, and Champagne Gold detailing inspired by high-end musical craftsmanship. The gold accents appear throughout both the interior and exterior, including the badges, exhaust finishers, and even the key.

Adding to the options list is a new exterior paint colour called Dark Teal, a metallic mid-blue shade with subtle green undertones designed to highlight the Flying Spur’s sculpted surfaces.

A New Audio Experience

Bentley is also introducing the Naim for Mulliner audio system beyond the coachbuilt Batur. Previously a £25,000 option on Bentley’s flagship grand tourer, the system is now available through the Virtuoso Collection.

The setup features 21 speakers and incorporates technology derived from Focal’s Grand Utopia loudspeakers. Bentley says the system delivers improved frequency response, lower distortion, and greater detail, creating what it describes as its most immersive in-car audio experience to date.

The new Bentley Flying Spur is available to order now, with the first customer cars expected to arrive in markets around the world during the final quarter of 2026.
