Working on the 1987 Mercedes 500SL

The team have been working on the 1987 Mercedes 500SL, slowly chipping away at the jobs list to get this V8 convertible back on the streets. Jon has carefully cut down the bolts to the correct length and then cleaned up the threads before turning his attention to getting the scuttle panel trims sorted out.

Fitting scuttle bits and also making up a bracket which was missing for the accelerator pedal to clip onto. Getting the placement and the height of this Is important as you need the pedal to be at a comfortable angle and press down on the kickdown switch.
