Jon, one of our amazing restoration technicians at Bridge Classic Cars, has been working through the job list on the 1987 Land Rover Defender V8 in at our Suffolk HQ. These Land Rovers were never fitted from factory, at some point this car was fitted with a Rover V8.

Here’s what Jon’s been up to:

”Put new jack in back. Tune carbs. Remove suction chambers and pistons. Clean check and set each jet depth. Set to 1.5mm depth. Re-oil dampers. Fit new oil pressure switch. Run up. Take outside and warm up. Richen up and adjust idle speed. Carry out small road test, very bumpy ride but ok.”
