The workshop team here at the Bridge Classic Cars HQ have been hard at work on the 1968 MGC Roadster. As soon as its wheels met the road at our workshop, it was straight into the main workshop for our technician Jon and Will to look over.

‘Carry out full appraisal with Will’s help. Check rear axle oil and gearbox oil levels, ok. Grease up. Remove old battery cable. Strip and remove wheels and rear drums and inspect brakes. Clean and adjust. Clean hubs and splines and regrease. Refit wheels and knock up tight.’

‘Fit new brake pedal rubber from stock. Sort connections to offside rear light and test. Sort connections to interior light and test. Check reverse lights. Show Will how to test and trace fault to switch. Make small clip to slide in behind offside rear light top to help secure lens when refitted.Tighten rear bumper and put hammer in boot. Inflate all tyres and get off ramp until parts arrive.’
