The team have been hard at work to get our 2002 Ford Thunderbird back on the road, with a series of jobs needed to get the car ready for the UK roads.
First up, our technician Jon, has been fitting up the new rear fog and reverse lights into the bumper of the retro-styled convertible as well as some other electrical jobs.

”Investigate washers not working. Strip offside front arch liner and access pump wires. Check for power supply with ignition on. Permanent 12v feed ok. Earth switches when washers activated ok. Requires new pump. Check foglights on front. Extra wiring been fitted for foglights so suspect it came out of factory without any and they have been retro fitted with Hella loom. Trace wiring and found wire disconnected at fuse box in engine bay. Reconnect to power supply and test. Front foglights working. Remove rear bumper. Strip and removenumber plate holder. Enlarge holes for fog light and reverse light already there. Test fit new lights. Fit edging trim to holes and refit lights. Manufacture brackets to hold both lights. Check all ok. Strip and remove. Glue in edging trim and then refit lights and secure. Refit to rear bumper.”

”Fit loom to rear bumper. Remove marker light bulbs. Clip into place ready to connect rear fog and reverse when multi plugs arrive.”
