Our technician Jon has been continuing on the recommissioning of our 1987 Maserati BiTurbo project here at the Bridge Classic Cars restoration HQ. The team have been working through this project in between our customer jobs to get this incredible piece of Italian style and engineering back on the road.
Here’s what Jon has been up to:
”Get back onto engine. Review previous pictures and work out mounting and connections for vacuum pipes. Strip and remove front wheels. Nearside, Reconnect flexi hoses to strut mount. Remove pads and caliper. Found caliper seized. Clean hub and parts and fit new disc and secure.”
”Refit nearside front wheel. Strip offside front brake and remove caliper. Clean hub and fit new disc. Reconnect flexi hoses to strut mounting and secure. Refit wheel and send calipers for repair.”
