We are incredibly proud that last night, Bridge Classic Cars was announced as the winner of the Behaviour Change Campaign of the Year at the first-ever East Anglia Clean & Green Awards 2025! It is incredible that we have been recognised for our work in driving positive behaviour change within the classic car community through our use and promotion of synthetic fuel.

Why We Won

The judges looked for campaigns that demonstrated real, measurable shifts in sustainability-related behaviour, alongside innovation, audience engagement, and scalability.

1. Impact on Behaviour

Our campaign has successfully encouraged classic car owners to consider sustainable alternatives, with many showing a strong interest in synthetic fuel as a viable solution. By demonstrating that synthetic fuel can significantly reduce emissions without altering the character of classic cars, we continue to challenge long-standing perceptions and inspire change within the community.

2. Innovation in Campaigning

We take a fresh approach to raising awareness, using real-world demonstrations, educational content, and powerful storytelling. From launching our 1971 Mini Cooper S as the first of our competition cars to run on synthetic fuel to producing engaging video content and articles, we have (and continue to) showcased the practical benefits of this fuel in an accessible and inspiring way.

3. Audience Reach and Engagement

Through our website, social media channels, and event partnerships, we have engaged a wide audience -from long-term classic car enthusiasts to those just beginning their journey in the world. The response has been overwhelmingly positive, with many people reaching out to learn more about synthetic fuel and its potential for the industry.

4. Scalability

Our campaign was designed to be more than just us, it’s made to grow and bring more people into the sustainability world. By demonstrating that synthetic fuel works with classic cars, we’ve laid the foundation for wider adoption, inspiring others in the classic car world to consider sustainable fuel solutions.

5. Measurable Behavioural Outcomes

As a direct result of our campaign, more classic car owners have expressed their intent to explore synthetic fuel, and we’ve even seen direct commitments from individuals wanting to make the switch. The industry conversation has shifted, and we are proud to be leading the way in this conversation.

Bridge Classic Cars – Winner

Winning this award is a fantastic achievement for us, particularly because classic cars are not typically seen as sustainable or “environmentally friendly”. We aren’t done yet though so this award is motivation to continue our work moving the classic car world into a sustainable future.
