Adam has carried out some paint prep on our 1955 Aston Martin DB2/4, beginning with the front wheel arches, which were filled and epoxy primed. These areas were then coated with Raptor liner that had been tinted to match the body colour, followed by the application of a clear coat.
All four wheel arches underwent further treatment, where they were filled and epoxy primed before receiving three coats of primer. Once the primer had cured, it was rubbed down and guide coated in preparation for the base coat. After this, the colour coat was applied and finished with a clear coat.
In addition to the work on the arches, Adam also prepared the door frames for painting. These were readied for the application of epoxy primer, which was subsequently followed by a clear coat.
