A full service was carried out on the Bridge Classic Cars Mercedes Vito, including the replacement of air, fuel, and oil filters, along with fresh oil. A thorough inspection identified a few immediate issues: a section of welding was required on an outrigger, and the rear brake pads needed replacing. These pads were subsequently fitted, though it was noted that the driver’s side brakes had mismatched hardware.
Further inspection highlighted additional concerns that will require attention in the future. The inner CV boots are perished, the oil filler pipe has a split, and the front tyres are showing signs of ageing. The front brake discs, while worn, remain within acceptable limits. A road test also revealed a faulty indicator stalk that will need to be addressed.
