Our workshop team have been given the job of tracking down a small list of issues for the owner of this 1968 MGB GT.

”Work through customers list of work. Check cooling system. No obvious signs of leak. Carry out pressure test. Found few small drips from water pump area. Tighten all hose clips and wipe up drips. Leave under pressure while I assess other work. Check gearbox level, on min. Top up gearbox oil level and check via lipstick. Check rear axle oil, level OK. Strip nearside brake and inspect. All looks OK. Clean and refit drum and adjust 1 turn less. Refit wheel and torque up. Recheck cooling system. No sign of leak at time of test. Carry out road test. Drives fine. Return and check. Nearside wheel not hot now after 10 miles. Still no sign of leak. Book MOT.”
