Our restoration workshops are in overdrive! The team have been working on making progress to the 1960 Jensen 541R which is undergoing a total restoration by the Bridge Classic Cars team. Rob, the restoration technician heading up the project, has been busy on getting several pieces of the project fitting up correctly and working with other components around them.
He has fitted up the aluminium B-Post panel trims, which have to be carefully fitted to the car and adjusted for the doors to close without damaging them which is a meticulous and very detailed job. Next, Rob could fit up the steering column under the dash and make sure that it didn’t interfere with anything in its way before fitting the new starter motor to the glorious straight-six.
