As part of the work that the Bridge Classic Cars workshop team have been doing, our workshop manager John has been trying to wake the classic British sports car back up after years of lying dormant.

‘On trying to start the car didn’t fire up and the plugs were found to be wet and one electrode was burnt out/missing so the plugs were changed and the carburettor cleaned and fresh fuel was added. The timing was set and then tried to start. The car started so the fuel was drained from the tank.’
