This week it’s a bit of a change to Torque Show…

Molly heads into our restoration workshops to check out a very special project just beginning its restoration journey – a 1969 Aston Martin DB6 Volante Mk2. One of just 140 Volante’s built, and a beautiful Dawn Blue matching numbers example, our restoration technician Pete takes Molly through what will be involved in bringing this iconic, glorious convertible back to Concours glory.

Whilst we’re in the workshop, they also take a look at the other end of the scale at our Suffolk HQ. Pete has been finishing up a few last jobs on our 1975 Volkswagen ‘Super’ Beetle which will very soon become one of our competition prizes. Then, it’s over to the Classic Lounge for some very exciting news with Rob.

It’s no secret that we are all big Morgan fans here at Bridge Classic Cars. So, when Nick ran into the office and said that a new ‘Flagship’ model had just been teased, Rob had to jump on it right away and look into it further.

The new, as yet unnamed car, perfectly blends the modern world with over a century of traditional skill in the much anticipated ‘CXV’ platform. So, we take a look at what we do know about this fantastic new car but also a look at our history with Morgan’s cars and their iconic HQ on Pickersleigh Road.
