Our paint and body technician Mauro has been working on the 1955 Aston Martin DB2 Drophead Coupe for this phase of the cars rebirth. To begin with, Mauro has prepared the cars radiator for refinishing as well as cleaning and protecting specific areas which we have known to corroded easily on the DB2 radiators. After he had got everything sorted, he moved on to getting the bodywork on the Drophead just right.
Mauro has methodically and meticulously gone through the car to make sure all of the cars panel gaps were upto our standards, as well as being nice and even through the car without one area being tghter or looser than another. For that, he has had to get our fabrication team to extended some of the clips and latches so, when clipped, the panel lays perfectly.
