On 19th December 2025, the last ever internal combustion Jaguar rolled off the production line at the brand’s Solihull factory. Not only was this the final internal combustion Jaguar, but it was also the final ever F-PACE. This one car brought to an end a successful model and Jaguar’s 90-year history with petrol and diesel engines.
The F-PACE was launched in 2015 and was Jaguar’s first SUV. Despite some initial uncertainty, it quickly became the brand’s best-selling model, redefining Jaguar’s image and proving that the company could innovate without losing its identity (sound familiar?).
As the last car left the production line, the factory momentarily stopped work, and everyone gathered around the car in what must have been a very special moment. A lot of the people in the factory had been involved with the F-PACE from day one.
The last F-PACE, an SVR finished in black, was chosen specifically to be the last one. Its colour gave a nod to the black E-type that once marked the end of another Jaguar chapter.
Interestingly, rather than being sold, the car was handed over to Matthew Davis, Managing Director of the Jaguar Daimler Heritage Trust. It is now part of the national collection at Gaydon, displayed alongside other special cars like the final XE and the original SS Jaguar 2.5-litre saloon.
Over its ten years of production, the F-PACE introduced a new range of customers to Jaguar and helped Jaguar continue to evolve in an ever-changing industry. Jaguar has held huge amounts of attention this year, and now, as the brand moves into a fully-electric future, it is once again evolving and making a big impact throughout the automotive industry.
