Our paint and body team are always busy here at the Bridge Classic Cars Suffolk HQ, especially this week with the the addition of two new projects for the team to get to work on. Joining the Aston Martin DB2/4 Drophead Coupe are another pair of Aston Martins. A 1953 DB2/4 Coupe and our 1969 DB6 Volante.

Our paint and body lead Chris, has been turning his magic to the DB2/4 Coupe as he begins the process of fairing the bodylines of the classic Aston Martin. Each of these cars is entirely hand built so Chris and his team take their time with making sure they are as close to perfect as possible. With the bodyfiller put on the car, 99% of it will be remove from the car through various rounds of sanding and refining the car.

Whilst Chris works on the DB2/4 Coupe, in the bay next to it is our 1969 Aston Martin DB6 Volante is under the watchful eye of our technician Adam – who himself is also working on the DB2/4 Drophead Coupe.
