Our latest ‘special’ – the 1954 Jaguar XK120’B’ has been slowly finding its shape and form in the Bridge Classic Cars fabrication shop in the masterful hands of our fabricator Clinton.
This entirely bespoke classic Jaguar is being built in the style of a pre-war boattail special, with influences coming from some of the truly breathtaking pre-war Alfa Romeo GP racers as well as the flowing, luxurious and opulent custom-made Bentley’s, Rolls Royce’s and DeLage’s of the roaring 20’s. Over the past few weeks, Clinton has been making headway on giving the ‘B’ its shape and form through its intricate, handshaped birdcage which will serve as a template for the handformed and finished bespoke aluminium body which will finely tailored for our recently restored 1954 Jaguar XK120 chassis.
This update is that we have finalised the rear shape of the cars, soon to be, iconic boattail.
