Here is a full run down on the works carried out recently on our Ford Transit Mk2.
Tony has collected a new/old stock prop shaft whilst on his travels and it is now safely back with us here at Bridge Classic Cars HQ.
Mauro has been working on some of the smaller components to get them black up and ready for refit.
Steve has been fitting up the windows and quarter lights. We have replaced the lower mounting point for the offside quarter light frame. He has also blasted the mirror casings.
Meanwhile, Lydia in the trim-shop has cut out the plastic liner for the door cards and stuck this to the door. She has then made some minor adjustments to the door card to allow it to fit correctly under the top rail, and then put the door card clips in.
The fuel tank is in need of repair so Steve has photographed the unit to send over in preparation for the repairers.
The parts for our 1968 Triumph TR5 have arrived and our technician Mauro has set them all out to assess what’s there and If anything more needs to be ordered.
Within this pile of goodies, you can find brake parts, clutch, seat belts, chrome parts such as door handles, rubber for the windscreen, injector pump, radiator, fan, headlights, copper fuel, and brake lines as well as a huge host of other bits that will go towards making our TR5 whole again!

The 1972 Chevron B20Â
We’re proud to represent a 1972 Chevron B20 Formula 2 race car. Although this, unfortunately, won’t be a giveaway car, it will be up for sale sometime in the near future on our website!
This beautiful vintage vehicle was originally designed as a single-seat racer for Formula 2.
We can’t wait to have such a unique vehicle in our workshop.
Our  1960 Jensen 541R has had another round of interior fittings measured up, made, and installed by our talented team in the Trim Shop. This time it’s the Jensens boot that’s been fitted.
Each piece of the boot carpet has been measured by hand, stitched, and fitted in a bespoke pattern. No trim is ever the same.
Our Peugeot restoration has kicked up a gear or two in the last week. It’s being worked on both in the Paint and Trim shops.
The colour for our Peugeot’s fresh look has been decided, it’s being painted in the striking VW Zinn Grey. Paired with a beautiful red interior, we think this specification is going to look superb. Darren our Paint Shop Manager has been applying the colour coats to our Peugeot. He firstly painted the Engine bay and boot and has now masked those areas up to paint the external elements of the bodywork.

Read on to take a look at Brian’s work on the 504 in the Trim Shop
Brian has been very busy bringing the 504’s seats back to life!
He’s firstly stripped down the old seats, taking off the old fabric, ready to re-trim in the brand new, red leather.
Brian has then stripped down and covered this flat interior panel, gluing down the excess material to the back of the panel.
Finally Brian has trimmed the top and bottom panels before riveting the two together to seamlessly meet. He’s added foam to the top of the panel before pulling the leather tight into place and gluing down.
