The 1967 Austin Healey 3000 is up on the ramps here at the Bridge Classic Cars restoration workshop here in Suffolk. Our restoration technician Jon has been working his way through the work orders on the classic British sports car to get this beauty ready and back on the road for its owner.
‘Remove sump and remove 1 broken bolt. Apply PTFE tape and refit gearbox bung. Clean engine block mating surface ready for new sump. Lower and fill gearbox with new oil and refit trim and carpet. Fit new spark plugs.‘
‘Strip amd remove all ducting to cabin. Replace with new ducting supplied. Replace pipes on nearside first and secure. Secure wiring near steering out of the way. Continue fitting ducting to cabin.’
