After moving our 1973 MGB GT around the workshop, Will positioned it on the ramp to begin work on the steering components and tyres. He swapped the spare wheel back into place and fitted the two new tyres onto the rear.
Turning his attention to the steering rack, Will removed the track rod ends, carefully counting the number of turns required to take them off so their original alignment could be maintained. He then cut away the zip ties securing the old steering rack gaiters and removed them, before fitting the new gaiters using the supplied jubilee clips. Once complete, he refitted the track rod ends, matching the exact number of turns recorded during removal.
To confirm everything was set correctly, Will checked the tracking using Dunlop gauges and found it to be within specification.
