Our workshop manager, and resident wiring guru, John has been working his way through the rewire of the 1980 TVR 300S. The car had already begun being wiring by its owner previously with the team going through and checking what had already been done and what still is left to do.
‘Customer brought the car in to be rewired. The rewiring had been started. So its a job of checking what had been done and what needs to be done. The dash loom was modified to fit the dash and block connector fitted to make dash removal easier for maintenance. The rear lights were connected up and checked. Bulb holders were cleaned and checked to make sure the bulbs worked and replaced as necessary. The next step is to check power to the fuse box and the power distribution.’
