Our classic car technician Jon has been working his magic on the 1967 Sunbeam Tiger as part of the cars service and check over here at the Bridge Classic Cars restoration workshop.
‘Finish nut and bolt check on front suspension. Clean out air filter and blow out re-oil when dry and refit. Strip and fit new spark plugs. Lube ht lead caps to aid fitting. Repair number 8 HT lead as end stayed on plug. Re crimp end. Refit trim /access panel inside carpet. Found another hole in bulkhead with a cable but no grommet so cut and fit grommet to block hole. Fill with new oil and carry out minor road test. Visually check for leaks, all OK. Recheck levels from cold in the morning. (levels checked 30/4 from cold, all ok.‘
