The Bridge Classic Cars team have been working on servicing and preparing the 1978 MG B GT. Ben, one of our amazing restoration technicians, has been working on the classic sports car in the finishing room of our restoration workshop.

”Finishing full service with points, air filters and setting dwell for points. Replacing perished clutch flexi and pipe, the pipe was rusted so needed replacement too and had to be chopped to get access to the top of the seized hose. New brake flexi old one had to be chopped off it was so rusted. New axle strap and nuts. Bonnet sound deadening glued up with heat proof glue, drivers footwell carpet fixed and glued, rips patched- was getting in way of pedals. Pass door lock removed to asses, shimmed to remove play, re fitted with new gasket. Boot latch wasn’t working so popped open from inside and adjusted to work.”
