Our restoration technician Jon has been working on this stunning 1963 Daimler SP250 Dart here at the Bridge Classic Cars HQ with a service and a few jobs for the cars owner. After the service was complete, Jon could start tackling the list.

First was to investigate the passenger window not going down. After further inspection, Jon found the regulator had come stiff over time and was also forcing the window itself into the runner, to recitfy this Jon removed the door card and could begin to lubricate and ease the regulator back into life and fix the door trim back to the B pillar. He could then move onto the underneath of the car where the propshaft was regreased and Jon noted that the play was now ‘minimal’. He could also tighten up the anti rolls bar arms and grub screws, which removed a noted knocking sound with the car. All tyres were then checked, knocked down tight and inflated to 26psi. On road test, Jon’s findings were the car performs well and is ok apart from one roof popper seems to be missing.
