The Bridge Classic Cars restoration team have been going full speed ahead with the 1969 Aston Martin DB6 Volante. Our technician Ben has been getting the car ready for its first fire up since the restoration started – beginning with the nearside door card.

After that, Ben could then fit the new carpets over the fuel tanks in the boot of the classic convertible and then got ready for the first fire up,

”Once everything was working with the tanks I could carpet the boot. I topped up all the fluids, primed the power steering pump and filled up the coolant system. No leaks apart from the the fuel line to the fuel pump which was not removed. I tightening the banjo bolt down and I will now see whether it has sealed.”
