Jon has been flexing his skills with the 1959 Jensen 541R which has come back to our workshop for routine maintenance and checking over following its restoration several years ago.
‘Fit new rocker cover gasket and secure. Fill with oil and run up. Hard to start. No power to excess fuel device. Found connection from loom under bonnet insecure. Replace joiner and test, OK now. Started up better. Check and top up oil. Take outside and warm up. Carry out road test OK. Set idle and balance. Refit air filter housing and secure. Remove lock striker from fuel cap and refit.’
