The 1973 Mercedes 250 which is currently in the Bridge Classic Cars restoration workshop is getting some much deserved TLC by the team here at our Suffolk HQ. Our paint and body technician Mauro has been working his way through the bottom of the classic Mercedes on a mission to cut out any rust he finds and graft in new panels. The bottom few inches of the car had corroded quite severely so Mauro set about methodically and carefully cutting, grinding and dressing the area to get it safe and secure.
As Mauro was cutting out the sections of the classic Mercedes, our master fabricator Clinton was busy in the metal shop making a pair of replacement sill/wing panels for Mauro to fit and weld into the car.
