The 1970 Aston Martin DBS Vantage project is continuing its march towards getting back on the road for the first time in what is believed to be 40 years. The paint and body team, along with our fabrication team, having carrying out various repairs on the car.

Our paint and body team have been carefully opening up the door jams on the classic GT car to gain access to the captive nuts which hold the door hinges. Our technician Mauro has worked his way through the drivers side cpative nuts to tap, thread and repair these crucial parts of the bodywork which will allow Mauro’s team to refine shut lines and panel alignments further down the road.

Whilst that was going on in our paint and body shop, the Bridge Classic Cars fabrication team have been mostly repairing sections of the bonnet which had corroded and needed to be remade and grafted into the bonnet of the classic GT car.
