Refurbishing the Gear Lever on the 1978 Mercedes 350SL

As the Bridge Classic Cars paint and body shop have been busy working on the bodyshell of the 1978 Mercedes 350SL, the restoration team have begun to prepare for the cars arrival in the finishing workshop. This time, our technician Steve has been working on refubishing and rebuilding the gear lever.

Steve has carefully stripped apart the mechanism to be able to clean up, sandblast and rebuild the lever for the car.
