Our technician Jon has been working on the 1987 Maserati BiTurbo as and when parts arrive on the car. The team have been moving forward to the first fireup of the newly built engine, but in order to do that Jon had a few jobs he needed to sort out first.

”Refit alternator and adjust belt. Secure. Fit remaining hoses. Resecure subframe. Fill with oil. Fill power steering reservoir. Put in 5ltrs E5 petrol. Connect jump leads to external battery via inline fuse. Turn ignition on andseems OK. Connect to battery and try to start. Won’t turn over. Remove air filter and check starter motor.”
