Both the Bridge Classic Cars paint and body team have been working alongside our fabrication team to refine the floors and doors of the 1955 Aston Martin DB2/4 Drophead Coupe as the project moves closer and closer to being in colour.

With the body of the 50’s droptop being removed last week, the team have been working together to get the floors and various other sections fitted up, adjusted and checked into the car. Mauro, one of our paint and body techs, has worked on refining the edges of the pans as well as stripping back various bits to be adjusted and painted ready for the cars reassmebly whilst our technician Greg has been working on repairing the doors of the car.

During this stage, Greg has also been teaching Mauro how to TIG weld as this will help on this particular project as the car is mostly an aluminium construction requiring TIG welding.
