The 1969 Audi 70L project has been moving along with our restoration technician Dave now working on the smaller, more detailed jobs on the ultra-rare German saloon car.

Recently Dave has got the spare wheel fitted into the car and its brace and rubber mounts. Whilst fabricating these, Dave also made up new bolts and brackets for the radiator of the Audi.

Dave also removed the manifold for our fabricator Clinton to weld up on the underside so that Dave could begin to get the inlet manifold fitted to the block with the freshly rebuilt carburettor. Alongside that, Dave recut the rubber isolaters for the cars battery tray before getting the steering column cowling fitted under the dash of the car.
