The Bridge Classic Cars restoration team have been hard at work on the 1969 Aston Martin DB6 Volante. Adam, one of our paint and body technicians, has been heading up the paint and bodywork side of the cars restoration here at the Bridge Classic Cars HQ. This time, Adam has prepped the boot of the car for it to be sprayed in black before our trim shop begin their work on the upholstery.

Once the paint in the boot had cured, our restoration technician Ben took over getting the car back together. To beign with, Ben had to fit the fuel tanks into the car. While the offside tank went in, there was an issue with the nearside tank which the team will have to sort out. Whilst Ben waits for the nearside tank, he worked on getting the dashboard back into the car. After looking further into it, the team were not able to fix the crack in the dashboat above the instrument cluster so the Bridge Classic Cars trim team completely recovered the dashboard. Whilst they were busy doing that, Ben was busy cleaning up and polishing the instruments to go back into the dash. Each one was individually stripped down, cleaned and polished just for this car.
