The 1955 Aston Martin DB2/4 Drophead Coupe has been in the bodyshop at our Suffolk HQ for Bridge Classic Cars technician Mauro so get the project onto the next phase of its rebuild. Recently the bodyshell of the classic Aston Martin, which had its interior paint in super durable black has been put back onto its freshly restored chassis.
At the same time, Mauro has been getting certain panels set into place for the car. With the car being entirely handbuilt from factory, many of the original parts have to be adjusted once our team have worked on squaring the body to the chassis. So, Mauro has tig welded several fixing holes to be remeasured and readied to be married back up into the bodyshell or chassis.
